Opportunity:

We are looking for a Software Tester (QA) who has:

- The ability to understand, review, and challenge requirements and specifications.
- The ability to create proper and well-structured test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
- The capability to analyze test results for database impacts, errors, and usability, and propose improvements.
- An eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and good interpersonal skills.
- Practical knowledge of testing (required).
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform Manual Testing and contribute to the Test Automation Framework.
- Detect, track, and drive resolution of software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work on manual testing of applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, system, and usability scenarios.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Collaborate with business team, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Work with databases (SQL) for test data preparation, validation, and backend testing.
- Apply various testing methodologies as part of SDLC and STLC, and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform functional, regression, system, and usability testing across releases.
- Review system specifications, execute test scripts, analyze, and document results, including defect reporting and root-cause analysis.
- Mentor junior testers and assist in knowledge sharing within the team (if applicable).

Requirements:

- 1–4 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Selenium WebDriver (including frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber).
- Working experience with SQL databases (writing queries for validation and backend testing).




- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Ability to perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, system, and usability testing.
- Experience in preparing test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience building or enhancing Test Automation Frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, Data-Driven, or BDD).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter (a plus).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
