We believe that System Testing is one of the critical components for providing an ideal user experience when running different workloads. It is the most highly visible and impactful area that has the potential for defining the strategic directions for Cohesity's hyper-converged appliance.

We are looking for a highly motivated Software QA Engineer 4 (MTS-4) with 8+ years of experience to drive quality across Cohesity's SaaS platform and Data Protection products. The ideal candidate is passionate about test automation, AI-driven quality engineering, SaaS application testing, and validating large-scale backup and recovery workflows. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and resiliency of Cohesity's enterprise platform.

What You'll Do

- Own end-to-end quality for SaaS and Data Protection features with an automation-first mindset.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and system testing.
- Leverage AI/GenAI technologies to improve test automation, test coverage, defect detection, and root cause analysis.
- Validate backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and data management workflows across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Execute large-scale system testing that simulates real-world enterprise deployments and customer workloads.
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis,



and drive defects to closure.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation and quality engineering best practices.

What You'll Bring

- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of QA and Test Automation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience on one or more automation frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, or similar.
- Proven experience building scalable automation frameworks and automated test suites.
- Robust experience testing SaaS products, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Deep understanding of Backup, Recovery, Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, and Cyber Resilience domains.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Experience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and system-level validation.
- Strong Linux, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience using AI/GenAI tools and technologies to improve test automation and quality engineering workflows is a strong plus.
