What youll be doing

- Experience in development in Core Java/JS/Oracle technologies and lead from an Engineering point of view.
- To assess problems and propose solutions with high quality.
- Good understanding of telecom OSS domain.
- Ability to deep dive into technical areas and get the best outcome out of technically ambitious situations.
- Possess good hands-on experience and be able to mentor technical teams.
- Assess the need of multiple projects and convey them divisionally and/or cross-divisionally
- Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to meet ambitious needs.
- Ability to debug complex issues and provide the right solution
- Ability to drive and formalize technical and functional designs and lead to implementation.

• May involve liaising with internal, external and third-party suppliers.

- Hands-on coding ability and strong data driven skills to trouble shoot and provide technological solutions using Java/J2EE, design Patterns, Oracle, PLSQL, Tomcat and JavaScript.

- Hands-on coding ability in Spring Boot, Rest APIs and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience in Bootstrap, AngularJS.
- Working knowledge of performance tuning of application and continuous integration techniques.




- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Working Experience in AWS, Jenkins and DevOPs.
- Hands on experience in Solr.
- .Net development experience is an added advantage.
- Experience in working with technically complex deliveries.
- Experience developing Enterprise Application development Projects from an Engineering perspective
- Self-starter who can lead the way by setting up prototypes for technical teams to follow.
- Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards.

• Experience in AI/ML will be an added advantage.

Essential Skills / Experience

- Possess B.E. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
- Possess typically 2-3 years of previous software engineering or related experience.
- Positive Java/J2EE, Oracle, Database technical abilities, UI design, JS, Linux scripting and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical and functional guidance and direction to team members

• Possess excellent written and oral articulate.

Desirable Skills / Experience

- Working with large Telco service providers is a plus
- Java/Oracle certifications

• Experience in working with geographically dispersed teams
