Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) –

Career Level 9 (6.5 – 8 Years Experience)

Role Summary The SRE will be responsible for identifying automation opportunities, driving operational efficiency, and supporting reliability engineering initiatives through automation and data-driven analysis.

Role: SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)

Duration: 10 Months

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, groom, and prioritize automation and SRE use cases with stakeholders.
- Build and manage automation pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
- Perform data analysis based on requests from technical and operations teams.




- Develop workflow diagrams, process documentation, and obtain stakeholder approvals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation adoption.
- Provide weekly/fortnightly status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Support implementation using Python, Ansible, and DevOps practices.
- Ensure adherence to operational standards, governance, and reliability objectives.
- Track benefits realization and contribute to reporting of productivity gains and operational improvements.
- identifies repeated incidents/manual effort, converts them into automation opportunities, and drives them through feasibility, build, test, deployment, and hyper care.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Python scripting or Ansible automation.
- Good understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in automation, monitoring, and operational support environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create presentations and workflow/process documentation.

GenAI & Agentic AI

- Hands-on experience with GenWizard platform and GenAI solution development.
- Understanding Agentic AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI-powered workflow automation.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SRE Observability.
