Role Description The Software Engineering Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the development of software platforms and tools that support Truebrand’s services and internal operations. This role oversees a team of engineers, guiding technical design, code quality, and delivery timelines while ensuring alignment with product and business goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and prioritizing projects, reviewing architecture and designs, managing distributed systems and integrations, and coordinating closely with cross-functional partners such as product, operations, and creative teams.

Manager also mentors team members, establishes best practices, and drives continuous improvement in engineering processes, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Software Design, including experience with modern frameworks, APIs, and system architecture.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership and Project Management skills, with a track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex initiatives on schedule.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Distributed Systems, scalable back-end services, and cloud-based environments.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in startup or fast-paced product environments, particularly in SaaS, marketing technology, or analytics platforms, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD, observability tools, and security best practices is an advantage.
