Responsibilities

Designand build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.

Maintainand improve existing Android codebase; document application changes and developupdates.

Integratewith CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated testing coverage.

Collaboratewith backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and optimize data exchange.

Skills Qualification

Must Have

Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or a similar field.

2-4 years of proven experience as an Android Developer with published apps on theGoogle Play Store.

Strongproficiency in Kotlin; working knowledge of Java.

Solidexperience with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and associated developmenttools.

Familiaritywith Android architecture components: ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager.

Experiencewith MVVM or MVP architectural patterns.

Proficientin consuming RESTful APIs using Retrofit or OkHttp.

Experiencewith dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger 2 or Hilt.

Familiaritywith reactive programming using RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.

Proficientunderstanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.

Experiencewith unit testing and instrumented testing using JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.

Goodunderstanding of memory management, threading, and performance optimisation inAndroid.

Knowledgeof Jetpack Compose for building modern Android UI.
