We're looking to fill two positions on our team:

Software Engineer (mid senior, 2-4yrs exp)

What this role looks like:

- Feature work end to end: API design, database access, and the React/Next.js interfaces on top
- Building the integration layer between our internal systems: reliable delivery, idempotency, retries and reconciliation
- Integrating with an external enterprise platform, to a design you'll help shape
- Leading the build of a current internal product from scratch
- Migration and backfill work against live production data
- Reviewing our associate engineer's work, and helping them grow

What we are looking for:

- 2+ years building production backend systems, ideally Node.js/TypeScript with PostgreSQL
- Strong relational data modelling: You can design a schema for a domain you've just been told about, and you know why constraints belong in the database
- You can reason about a system you've never seen : state the tradeoffs, defend where a boundary belongs, and say what breaks when a dependency is down
- Comfortable across the stack:



you can build the API and the screen that consumes it
- You've integrated with at least one external system you didn't control, and remember what went wrong
- You treat authorization and data isolation as correctness problems, not configuration
- Available full-time: This role isn't compatible with ongoing coursework or another commitment running alongside it

Good to have:

- Experience integrating with enterprise platforms: SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, Salesforce or similar
- Prisma, or Next.js App Router
- You've taken a codebase from little test coverage to real coverage
- You've mentored a/a team of junior engineer(s)

============================================================================ Associate Software Engineer (fresher, 0-1yr exp)

What this role looks like:

- Feature work end to end: API endpoints, database queries, and the React screens on top of them
- Growing our automated test coverage: This one is genuinely yours to own, and it's one of the fastest ways to learn a system properly
- CI/CD pipelines
- Screens and workflows for a new internal product
- Data scripts and routine maintenance work, always under review

What we are looking for:

- A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent skills you can demonstrate. Up to a year of experience, internships count as long as the work makes sense.
- Solid fundamentals in Data structures, algorithms, SQL and how the web works. We'd rather want you know five things properly than twenty things vaguely.
- Competence in at least one language you'd be happy to be interviewed in (not Python).
- You can say “I don't know” and then reason your way toward an answer. We test for this deliberately
- You've built something. Coursework, an internship project, something of your own, and you can explain why you built it the way you did
- Available full-time: This role isn't compatible with ongoing coursework or another commitment running alongside it

Good to have:

- TypeScript, React or Next.js
- You've contributed to a codebase somebody else wrote
- You've taught yourself something recently because you wanted to, not because it was assigned
