Job Summary

We are looking for an AI-first Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our Product Engineering team and contribute to the development of IRIS carbon, an enterprise platform for carbon and ESG reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, React.js, jQuery, REST APIs, Microservices, and MongoDB, along with practical experience using modern AI-assisted development tools.

AI-First Engineering

AI is an integral part of our software engineering approach. The candidate should have practical hands-on experience with AI coding and developer productivity tools, such as:

- Claude Code
- OpenAI Codex
- GitHub Copilot
- Similar AI-assisted development tools

Expected usage includes code generation, refactoring, debugging, test generation, code understanding, documentation, and developer productivity. Candidates should be able to review, validate, test, and improve AI-generated code and take full ownership of the final solution.

Required Skills

- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core.
- Good experience with React.js, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
