Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer in Test role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

The Software

Engineer in Test will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for back-end and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities include collaborating with development and product teams to define test strategies, performing functional, integration, and regression testing, and ensuring high-quality releases. The role also involves analyzing defects, improving test coverage, contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines,



and documenting test results and quality metrics. The ideal candidate will proactively identify quality risks and help enhance engineering and testing best practices across the team.

Test Design, Execution, and Automation

- Automation Framework—Robot with Python (preferred)
- Develop tools, mocks, and stubs that streamline test execution and documentation
- Maintain and enhance the automation framework, scripts and test infrastructure

Collaboration and Communication

- Participate in feature and component design phases
- Translate requirements into quality process requirements
- Practice transparent and constructive bug advocacy
- Improve issue reporting methods to speed up issue analysis

Customer Focus and Deployment Awareness

- Reproduce production bugs in lab environments and report findings
- Monitor and analyze test results regularly

Product Quality Focus

- Conduct complex exploratory testing
- Incorporate quality-related feedback from customers into test cases
- Develop tools to verify non-functional quality aspects like performance and resilience
- Minimize false positives by in-depth analysis of test failures
- Provide comprehensive bug reports

Guidance and Supervision

- Works with minimal supervision on analysis tasks and little to no supervision on test execution and tool development tasks.
