This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed AI Foundry - Platform Engineering team, shaping the foundation of AI-driven financial technology from the ground up. In this role, you will design and develop cutting-edge AI tools, workflows, and Agents that form the core foundation of an agentic system - delivering faster, smarter, and more trustworthy financial intelligence across the enterprise. As part of this high-visibility, strategic organization, your work will directly shape how AI capabilities are architected, scaled, and adopted company-wide, creating lasting impact for both internal stakeholders and FactSet clients.

Responsibilities

- Develop high quality and easily maintainable code.
- Collaborate with other engineers, product team and work as part of a geographically diverse team
- Follow best practices such as code reviews, testing, documentation, and version control.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications and systems.

What We're Looking For

- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience working professionally as a Software Developer building web application
- Professional Experience with JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript and a modern web framework such as Vue or React




- Strong experience of Node.js , and experience working with Node.js services.
- Deeply understand complex systems and have an aptitude to learn.
- Experience using AI coding assistants as a core part of your development workflow
- Candidate must have experience on GenAI technologies.

Desired Skills

- Experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, Angular.js, AWS and Building UI components.
- Experience in responsive web design and building responsive web sites
- Knowledge of building APIs and Data Visualizations.
- Proficiency in writing unit test cases for frontend components, and experience using unit testing frameworks like vitest, jest
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of End to End (E2E) testing, preferably with tools such as playwright or cypress
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban or Agile software development in general
- Experience working with remote teams
- Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices
- Familiarity with MCP, AI agent frameworks and agentic design patterns
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and AI SDK integrations
