This role is for builders who want to grow fast in Copilot, automation, and enterprise AI—with real production exposure, not sandbox demos.

Role Overview

As a Junior Software Engineer – Copilot & Agentic AI, you will work closely with senior architects and automation leads to build Microsoft Copilot prompts, Copilot Agents, and Power Automate flows. You’ll also support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations that ground AI responses using enterprise data.

Think of this role as your on-ramp into enterprise-grade AI engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Copilot & Prompt Engineering

- Assist in creating and refining prompts for Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
- Learn to structure prompts using system instructions, context grounding, and examples
- Test prompt behavior and document outcomes for continuous improvement

Copilot Agents & Agent Flows

- Support the development of Copilot Agents under guidance from senior team members
- Build and maintain Agent Flows using Power Automate
- Configure triggers, actions, conditions, and approvals for business workflows

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Support

- Assist in integrating enterprise content (SharePoint, Dataverse, documents) into Copilot responses
- Help implement basic RAG patterns using Azure AI Search or similar tools




- Validate response accuracy and relevance

Automation & Integration

- Create and modify Power Automate cloud flows
- Support API-based integrations with enterprise systems
- Assist in testing and deployment of automation workflows

Documentation & Governance

- Document prompts, agent logic, and flow designs
- Follow ServSoft’s AI governance and security standards
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio
- Awareness of Prompt Engineering concepts
- Hands-on exposure to Power Automate (academic, internship, or project-based is fine)
- Basic programming knowledge in C#, Python, or JavaScript

Nice-to-Have (We’ll Train You)

- Familiarity with RAG concepts
- Exposure to Azure OpenAI or Azure AI services
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Any experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse)
