We combine Artificial Intelligence, workflow automation, and human decision-making to help logistics companies operate with greater control and significantly reduce manual work.

Our focus is on building a scalable logistics coordination platform , rather than creating separate customer-specific automation solutions.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Software Engineer – AI-Assisted Product Delivery who can transform real customer challenges into scalable product capabilities used by logistics teams in their day-to-day operations.

This is a combined product engineering and customer implementation role .

You will work directly on customer implementations while also identifying opportunities to convert customer-specific requirements into reusable capabilities within the our platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python backend development, APIs, integrations, databases, asynchronous processing, cloud technologies, automated testing, and production systems .

AI-assisted software development is an important part of the role. We extensively use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and similar tools to improve engineering productivity.

You should be comfortable using AI agents as part of your daily development workflow while maintaining ownership of the technical decisions, architecture, code quality, testing, maintainability, and production readiness of the software.

You will be expected to take problems from initial requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend services and APIs .
- Build and maintain integrations between customer and our systems.
- Develop workflow, operational process, and dossier-management capabilities.
- Design and implement document ingestion, extraction, validation, and processing functionality .
- Develop reliable asynchronous processing, background workflows, and failure-handling mechanisms .
- Translate customer-specific requirements into reusable and scalable product capabilities.




- Identify common patterns across customer implementations and develop platform-level solutions that can benefit multiple customers.
- Work closely with customers, product teams, and fellow engineers to understand operational requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Take full ownership of features from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while identifying improvements that prevent similar issues from occurring again.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
- Continuously improve existing architecture as the platform and customer base scale.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs and determine when quick implementation is appropriate and when a more scalable architectural solution is required.
- Use AI coding agents effectively to accelerate development while maintaining engineering quality and technical judgement.
- Provide clear context and instructions to AI agents, break complex problems into manageable tasks, review generated code, and validate the resulting implementation.
- Review AI-generated code as an engineering starting point and improve it based on architecture, security, maintainability, performance, and production requirements.
- Clearly explain technical decisions, implementation assumptions, testing approaches, and post-release considerations.
- Stay closely involved after deployment to ensure features work correctly for real users in production.
- Continuously learn from customer implementations, production incidents, feedback, and emerging engineering practices.

Necessary Skills

- 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend development .
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, backend architecture, and distributed application systems.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and system integrations .
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with asynchronous processing, background jobs, queues, or event-driven systems .
- Experience taking ownership of software running in production environments .
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based application development.
- Robust understanding of automated testing and software quality practices .
- Experience working within a SaaS, platform, product, or startup environment .
- Strong practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or comparable AI development agents as part of day-to-day engineering work.
- Ability to review, understand, validate, and improve AI-generated code rather than relying on generated output without verification.




- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand the impact of technical changes across APIs, databases, integrations, workflows, and the overall platform architecture.
- Ability to work effectively with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with evolving requirements and independently shape solutions where detailed specifications may not initially exist.

Desired Skills

- Experience building workflow automation or operational platforms.
- Experience with document-processing systems, including document ingestion, extraction, and validation.
- Experience designing reusable capabilities from customer-specific requirements.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
- Experience working directly with customers or operational teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, maintainability, and production reliability.
- Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, freight, transportation, or operational workflow systems is an advantage but not mandatory .
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business domains and technical systems.

You should be comfortable taking responsibility for the complete lifecycle of your work — from understanding a customer problem to ensuring the solution is successfully operating in production.

AI coding agents will be part of your normal development workflow. However, the engineer remains responsible for the architecture, technical decisions, testing, code quality, security, maintainability, and final production outcome .

We value engineers who move quickly while maintaining quality, understand which shortcuts provide genuine speed, and continuously improve the system based on real production experience.

Assessment Process

Rather than focusing primarily on algorithm-based coding puzzles, our assessment will focus on practical engineering experience and judgement.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss:

1. A software product, feature, or system you personally built and successfully shipped .
2. A production issue that you personally investigated and owned through resolution.
3. How you use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools within your software development workflow.
4. An example where you disagreed with or overruled an AI-generated solution and how you determined the correct approach.
5. How you determine whether AI-assisted code is sufficiently tested, maintainable, secure, and reliable for production deployment .
