About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer with strong hands-on experience in Node.js, Angular, PostgreSQL, and TimescaleDB.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a Node.js-based middleware/API platform, a modern Angular web application, and database-driven business modules.

The role involves developing custom modules including user management, inventory, reporting, payment processing, API integrations, dashboards, and time-series data functionality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Node.js Backend & Middleware Development

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party applications.
- Develop middleware/API services for integrating multiple systems and services.
- Implement JWT-based authentication and authorization.
- Develop user management, roles, permissions, and access control.

- Develop custom modules including

- Other custom application modules
- Develop GET, POST, PUT and DELETE APIs for third-party integrations.
- Implement API validation, authentication, error handling, logging, and security.
- Optimize backend performance and API response times.

1. PostgreSQL & TimescaleDB

- Develop and maintain applications using PostgreSQL.
- Work with TimescaleDB for time-series and telemetry data.
- Design efficient database schemas for transactional and time-series data.
- Develop complex SQL queries, joins, aggregations, and database operations.
- Work with large volumes of time-series data.

- Understand TimescaleDB hypertables, chunks, retention policies, and time-based queries.
- Optimize database queries and indexes.
- Implement data retention and archival strategies.

- Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.
- Maintain data integrity and transaction consistency.

1. Payment Gateway Integration

- Integrate and maintain online payment gateways with Node.js and Angular applications.
- Implement payment initiation, transaction processing, and payment status management.
- Integrate payment gateway APIs and SDKs.




- Implement secure payment callbacks and webhooks.

- Handle successful, failed, cancelled, pending, and expired transactions.
- Implement server-side transaction verification.
- Maintain payment transaction records and history.
- Implement refund and transaction-status functionality where supported.

- Handle payment reconciliation.
- Experience with Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, Stripe, or similar gateways is an advantage.

1. Angular Frontend Development

- Develop responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Build frontend modules consuming APIs from the Node.js middleware.
- Develop dashboards, forms, tables, reports, charts, and administrative interfaces.
- Develop payment-related screens and transaction interfaces.
- Implement JWT-based authentication and session management.
- Implement role-based access and permissions.
- Develop reusable Angular components, services, and modules.

- Integrate REST APIs using RxJS and Angular services.
- Debug and optimize frontend performance.

1. API & Third-Party Integration

- Design and develop APIs for external application integration.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Work extensively with REST APIs and JSON.
- Implement secure API authentication and authorization.
- Integrate payment, notification, communication, and other external services.

- Prepare and maintain API documentation.
- Troubleshoot API and data synchronization issues.
