Software Architect:

Company: Paras Anti-Drone Technologies (PADT)

Location: Navi Mumbai, Nerul.

Experience: 8-12 years (incl. 3+ years in architecture/technical leadership)

Function: Software Engineering (Leadership)

Role Summary: Own end-to-end software architecture for PADT's counter-UAS product suite spanning the real-time detection engine, ML-based classification, sensor fusion, and C2/kill-chain integration across 24+ products in detection, jamming, spoofing, kinetic, HEL, and EW categories.

Key Responsibilities

- Define system architecture across detection (C++/Qt6/SQLite), classification (ONNX Runtime-based ML models), and C2/kill-chain integration layers
- Set engineering standards for real-time performance (sub-500ms latency), reliability, and scalability across the product portfolio
- Lead technical design reviews and define API/data contracts between RF/FPGA hardware and the software stack
- Guide multi-sensor fusion architecture (RF + radar + EO/IR) for integrated kill-chain systems
- Mentor engineering leads across backend, embedded, and ML teams




- Own build-vs-buy technology decisions aligned with the iCET/INDUS-X co-development pipeline

Required Skills

- Deep expertise in modern C++ (14/17) and system architecture at scale
- Experience designing real-time, latency-critical systems
- Hands-on experience integrating ML/AI inference (ONNX Runtime, TensorRT or equivalent)
- Robust Linux/embedded systems background
- Excellent stakeholder communication, including with defence-industry and government stakeholder

Good to Have

- Experience with sensor fusion in defence or aerospace systems
- Familiarity with Random Forest/classical ML alongside deep learning classifiers

Qualifications

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
- 8-12 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architecture/technical leadership role
- Defence-tech or safety-critical systems experience strongly preferred
