We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to teach Social Science in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks. The candidate should develop students' understanding of History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Social awareness through engaging and activity-based teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Social Science lessons based on the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks.

- Teach concepts from History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and relevant Social Science topics as per the assigned classes.

- Explain concepts using maps, timelines, charts, case studies, current examples, activities, and visual aids.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and revision materials.

- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.

- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, revision, and remedial sessions.

- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical skills, general awareness, and understanding of society.

- Encourage students to participate in discussions, debates, presentations, projects, and group activities.

- Conduct map-based activities and other practical learning activities wherever applicable.

- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide appropriate remedial guidance.

- Monitor student attendance, academic performance, assignments, and overall progress.

- Analyse assessment results and prepare suitable improvement plans.

- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance.





- Guide students in completing projects, assignments, and subject-related activities.

- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress to parents.

- Coordinate with other teachers and the Academic Coordinator for effective academic planning.

- Use digital teaching tools, presentations, videos, maps, and other educational resources to enhance learning.

- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and interactive learning setting.

- Participate in school academic activities, exhibitions, competitions, workshops, and other events.

- Follow all school policies, academic procedures, and skilled standards.

Educational Qualification

- B.A. / M.A. in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Social Science, or a relevant discipline.

- B.Ed. is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Social Science curriculum and NCERT textbooks.

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.

- Experience in a CBSE school is preferred.

- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills may also be considered.
