ROLE OVERVIEW The Social Media Manager at Bharat Fitness Den is the voice, face, and creative engine of our brand online. You will be responsible for building and sustaining Odisha's most engaging fitness social media presence from crafting compelling reels and transformation stories to executing membership campaigns and building an authentic community of fitness enthusiasts across Bhubaneswar and beyond.

This is not a desk-only role. You will be on the gym floor capturing content, working with trainers and members, planning shoots, and ensuring Bharat Fitness Den stays ahead of every trending fitness wave on Instagram, YouTube, and beyond. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Planning & Strategy

- Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
- Create and execute content strategies that align with brand goals, membership campaigns, and seasonal fitness trends.
- Plan and script video content: reels, transformation videos, workout tips, member testimonials, and trainer features.
- Stay ahead of fitness trends (HIIT, functional training, nutrition, body recomposition) and incorporate them into content strategy.
- Collaborate with trainers, nutritionists, and the sales team to create accurate, informative, and on-brand content.

Content Creation & Production

- Shoot, edit, and publish high-quality short-form videos (Reels,



YouTube Shorts) and static posts independently.
- Create visually compelling graphics, promotional creatives, and story templates using Canva, Adobe Premiere, or CapCut.
- Manage in-gym photo and video shoots coordinate with members and trainers for transformation stories and live demos.
- Write engaging captions with strong CTAs tailored to the Bhubaneswar fitness audience in Hindi, Odia, and English.
- Produce informative blog posts and long-form content on fitness, nutrition, and wellness for the website and WhatsApp channel.

Social Media Management & Community Building

- Manage and actively grow Bharat Fitness Den's Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp Business accounts daily.
- Publish content consistently, maintain a posting schedule, and use optimal hashtag and tagging strategies.
- Respond to comments, DMs, and story replies promptly build a responsive, engaged online fitness community.
- Monitor brand mentions, reviews (Google, JustDial), and reputation across all digital touchpoints.
- Support influencer and fitness creator collaborations coordinate tagging, reposting, and co-created content.

Promotional Campaigns & Events

- Plan and execute digital campaigns for membership drives, seasonal offers, and new service launches.
- Promote and cover gym events, fitness workshops, free trial days, and community outreach programmes on social media.
- Coordinate with local influencers, IT park communities, colleges, and housing societies near Jaydev Vihar and New Airport Road for partnership content.
- Build and manage partnerships with local fitness influencers, health brands, and Bhubaneswar lifestyle pages to expand reach.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimisation

- Track and analyse performance metrics: reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, and lead conversions from social.




- Use Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics to evaluate campaign performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports for the management team.
- Continuously A/B test content formats, posting times, and messaging to optimise reach and engagement.
- Monitor competitor social media activity (QNTS Fitness, Knockout Fitness, All Time Fitness, Bhubaneswar Health Club) and identify content gaps and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

- Graduate in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism, or related field.
- 2-4 years of proven social media management experience; fitness, lifestyle, or wellness brand experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable portfolio of Instagram/YouTube content with measurable growth or engagement outcomes.
- Proficiency in photo/video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Instagram SEO, and content performance analytics.
- Certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or Content Creation is preferred (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Digital Garage, HubSpot Content Marketing).
- Passion for fitness, health, and wellness is non-negotiable you must believe in the product you are promoting.
