Job Summary

Onkar Films & Studio is looking for a creative and result-oriented Social Media Manager to manage and grow the company's social media presence across all social media platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, content strategy, audience engagement, and digital marketing. The role will involve promoting our films, micro-dramas, OTT shows, production updates, milestones, behind-the-scenes content, and other creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Onkar Films & Studio's social media accounts across multiple platforms.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, reach, and followers.
- Create and schedule engaging content including posts, reels, stories, videos, carousels, and promotional creatives.
- Plan monthly and weekly social media content calendars.
- Promote upcoming and released shows, films, micro-dramas, and other production projects.
- Write engaging captions, headlines, hooks, and promotional copy according to each platform.
- Monitor social media trends, viral formats, hashtags, sounds, and audience preferences.
- Coordinate with the creative, production, and post-production teams to collect content for social media.
- Track and report social media performance using platform insights and analytics.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience interactions and respond appropriately.
- Identify opportunities to improve content performance and audience engagement.
- Assist in creating promotional campaigns for recent releases, view milestones, trailers, posters, and announcements.
- Keep the company's social media presence consistent with its brand image and communication style.





Content & Creative Responsibilities
- Have a basic understanding of tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Stay updated with AI-powered content creation tools and explore new ways to improve social media content.
- Repurpose existing production content into engaging social media formats.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing is preferred.
- Experience with social media accounts for a media, entertainment, production, advertising, or creative company will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
- Good understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Excellent written communication and caption-writing skills.
- Strong creativity and understanding of visual content.
- Ability to identify trends and convert them into relevant content.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage deadlines.
