About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive and data-driven Social-Media & Growth Associate - Trainee to help build and strengthen our company's digital presence across key social media platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, experimenting with new ideas, understanding social media trends and using data to improve performance.

You will work closely with the leadership team to transform business ideas, industry insights, product stories and company updates into engaging social media content.

This role will give you exposure to social media strategy, content creation, LinkedIn growth, paid campaigns, community engagement, visual design, analytics and growth experiments.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with platforms such as LinkedIn, LinkedIn Ads, Reddit, X, Medium and other relevant digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Growth

- Support the development and execution of the company's social media strategy.
- Build weekly and monthly content calendars.
- Develop and maintain content pillars and recurring content formats.
- Research industry trends, competitors and audience interests.
- Identify opportunities to improve organic reach, engagement and audience growth.
- Experiment with different content formats, topics, hooks and distribution strategies.
- Analyze results and continuously improve the content strategy.

2. LinkedIn Growth & Management

LinkedIn will be one of the primary platforms for the role.

- Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn presence.
- Create and publish engaging LinkedIn content.
- Support leadership and executive social media content.
- Research relevant industry conversations and trends.
- Engage with relevant professionals, companies and communities.
- Identify collaboration and audience-building opportunities.
- Monitor page performance and recommend improvements.

3. Content Creation

Own the content workflow from:





Idea → Creation → Publishing → Performance Analysis

Create:

- LinkedIn posts
- Carousels
- Infographics
- Social media graphics
- Short-form videos
- Reels
- Product/feature content
- Industry insights
- Educational content
- Event creatives
- Thought-leadership content

4. Graphic Design & Video

Use Canva to independently create professional social media content.

Experience with CapCut, Figma, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or similar tools will be an advantage.

The ability to turn a simple idea into an engaging visual or short video will be highly valued.

5. LinkedIn Campaigns & Paid Social

- Support planning and execution of LinkedIn campaigns.
- Conduct audience and competitor research.
- Assist with LinkedIn Ads setup and management.
- Test different audiences, creatives and messaging.
- Monitor campaign performance and budgets.
- Track metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPL and conversions.
- Recommend optimization opportunities based on campaign performance.

6. Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyze:

- Follower growth
- Reach
- Impressions
- Engagement rate
- Likes
- Comments
- Shares
- Saves
- Video views
- Profile/page visits
- Website traffic
- Campaign performance
- Inbound enquiries

Prepare weekly performance updates and monthly social media reports, highlighting:

What worked → What didn't → Why → What we should test next

Note: KRAs & KPIs will be reviewed periodically and may be adjusted based on business priorities, platform performance and the maturity of the company's social media channels.
