Join our team at the Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI). We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Social Media Executive to enhance the online presence of MRAI - Voice of Indian Recycling Industry and interact with our continuously growing community.

About this Role:

As Social Media Executive, you will be the driving force behind MRAI's digital communication. You'll manage and create engaging content, track performance metrics, and lead innovative campaigns that promote MRAI's initiatives, events, and membership programs. This is a full-time position based in Chakala, Mumbai, India.

Job Type: Executive Level (Mid-Level) Opportunity for candidates having 3 to 5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Creation & Management: Develop and schedule engaging social media posts across all platforms.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the audience by responding to comments and interacting with followers in a way that builds relationships and improves brand presence.
- Campaign Development: Design and execute campaigns for MRAI Membership, Events, and Magazine Advertisements.
- Trend Analysis: Keep abreast of social media trends, hashtags, and analytics to refine strategies and enhance engagement.
- Performance Reporting: Track social media metrics and ROI, providing monthly reports to senior staff.
- Brand Awareness: Strategy for increasing audience reach while ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the social media team and other departments to ensure cohesive communication.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Minimum 3 to Maximum 4 years of experience managing social media platforms and websites content management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Advertising, PR, or related disciplines) – Required.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of social media management and content strategy across LinkedIn,



Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms.
- Hands-on experience in content creation, including social media posts, captions, creatives, reels, short-form videos, stories, and promotional content.
- Good content writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging, skilled, and platform-specific content.
- Basic proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Social Media Marketing and Optimisation (SMO), hashtags, trends, audience engagement, and organic reach.
- Ability to plan and execute social media campaigns for events, memberships, publications, partnerships, and brand initiatives.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and insights, including reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, and campaign performance.
- Ability to develop monthly content calendars and manage timely publishing across multiple platforms.
- Strong visual sense and understanding of brand consistency, tone of voice, and digital communication.
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams, designers, event teams, and external agencies to deliver content and campaigns.
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of the events, B2B, association, sustainability, recycling, or industrial sector will be an added advantage.
