Role Description The Social Media Executive (Intern) role is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. This role involves creating and publishing engaging social media content across multiple platforms, including writing captions, selecting visuals, and scheduling posts. The intern will monitor social media channels, respond to audience interactions where appropriate, and support campaigns to increase reach and engagement.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with editorial and marketing teams to align social content with news coverage, tracking basic performance metrics,



and suggesting ideas for improving the platform’s social media presence. The intern will also assist with research on trends, competitors, and audience preferences to support digital growth initiatives.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing tasks to support audience growth and engagement.
- Skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop and execute platform-appropriate campaigns.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear writing and professional online interaction.
- Interest in news, current affairs, and digital media, with basic understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube).
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in the Greater Delhi Area and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant coursework or prior internship experience in media, communications, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
