About the Role – SMO / Digital Marketing Intern

We are seeking an Instagram-first SMO / Digital Marketing Intern with a creator's mindset, a marketer's thinking and an analytical approach. You will plan, script, test and analyse short-form content that grows reach, engagement and followers for ElectroGlobal.

Key Responsibilities

- Audience Research: Understand the target audience's interests, problems and behaviour. Content Strategy: Build content pillars and a structured content calendar.
- Competitor & Trend Research: Track what works for competitors, and find trending topics, hooks, sounds and formats.
- Scripting & Ideas: Write hooks, opening lines and short-form scripts mapped to educational,

entertaining, promotional or conversion goals.
- Trend Adaptation: Adapt trends to the brand instead of copying them blindly. Performance Analysis: Study reach, retention and engagement,



and use the insights to improve future content.
- Testing: Keep testing different hooks, topics, formats and creative approaches. Staying Current: Keep up with new Instagram features and changing content patterns.

What We Need

- A student or fresh graduate with 0–1 year of experience and a solid practical understanding of Instagram.
- Knows how the Instagram algorithm decides reach, and what drives views, engagement, shares, saves and followers.
- Hands-on with Reels, Stories, Carousels, Posts, Collabs, trending formats and sounds. Understands hooks, watch time, retention and storytelling in short-form video. Can write engaging short video scripts and generate content ideas for a brand. Has a creator's mindset, a marketer's thinking and an analytical approach, and is curious about why some content works and some fails.
- Good to have: Basic knowledge of YouTube and other social platforms.
