Job Summary – Service Engineer | CNC Floor Boring Machine
Responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of CNC Floor Boring Machines. The role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CNC-related issues, carrying out machine repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring minimum machine downtime at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of CNC Floor Boring Machines.
- Service and troubleshooting of CNC, PLC, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting of spindle, boring head, rotary table, feed systems, ATC and machine axes.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
- Machine alignment, calibration and accuracy checking.
- Servo motor, drive, encoder and sensor troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with customers for machine breakdown and technical support.
- Prepare service reports and maintain records of machine issues and rectification.
- Travel to customer sites for installation, servicing and breakdown support.
- Support machine trials and production after commissioning.
