Job Summary – CNC Floor Boring Machine | Škoda KASIMA
Responsible for operation, setup, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of Škoda KASIMA CNC Floor Boring Machines used for heavy-duty precision machining of large components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Škoda KASIMA CNC Floor Boring Machine.
- Perform CNC floor boring, milling, drilling and heavy-component machining.
- Machine setup, workpiece alignment, tool setting and job loading.
- Handle spindle, boring head, machine axes and feed mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot CNC, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and servo-related issues.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Check machine alignment, geometry, positioning and machining accuracy.
- Read mechanical drawings, GD&T; and machining tolerances.
- Work with CNC controls such as Siemens / Fanuc / Heidenhain, as applicable.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for machining trials and accuracy requirements.
