Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at project locations. This role includes coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure that work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

The Site

Supervisor monitors construction progress, manages site workforce schedules, checks quality of materials and workmanship, and maintains detailed site records, reports, and updates for the project team. The role also involves resolving on-site issues, enforcing safety and compliance protocols, and ensuring that sustainable design practices are implemented during construction. Regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders to provide status updates and align expectations is an important part of this position.





Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience supervising construction or design implementation on-site, preferably in architectural, interior, or landscaping projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, drawings, and specifications, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical details clearly.
- Proficiency in basic project coordination tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Knowledge of safety standards, site compliance requirements, and quality control practices for construction and finishing works.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Ability to identify and resolve on-site problems quickly, make sound decisions, and escalate issues when needed.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate site documentation and reports.
- Interest in sustainable design and environmentally responsible construction methods; prior exposure to green building practices is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work in office in Varanasi, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
