Role Description The Skin Patch Test Scientist is responsible for designing, conducting, and documenting skin patch tests to evaluate product safety and potential irritation or sensitization. This full time on-site role, based in Manesar, includes preparing test materials and samples, recruiting and coordinating with volunteer panels or test subjects in line with ethical and regulatory guidelines, and monitoring test sites for reactions over defined time intervals. The scientist will record and interpret clinical observations, analyze test data, and prepare clear, compliant reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

Day-to-day activities also involve maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to Good Laboratory Practices and relevant regulatory standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting continuous improvement in test protocols and quality systems.

Qualifications





- Strong foundation in dermatology, toxicology, cosmetic or pharmaceutical sciences, or related life sciences, with experience in skin irritation and sensitization assessment methods.
- Proficiency in designing and executing patch test protocols, including sample preparation, application procedures, clinical scoring, and data recording.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and safety standards (e.g., cosmetic, personal care, and consumer product regulations) and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Ability to analyze clinical and laboratory data, interpret results, and prepare clear, structured technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and commitment to quality, safety, and ethical testing practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with laboratory teams, clinical staff, and client representatives.
- Comfort with on-site work in a laboratory environment, including adherence to hygiene, safety protocols, and use of protective equipment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dermatology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field; prior experience in clinical or product safety testing is an advantage.
