Role & responsibilities

- Collaborate with Owner, Main Contractor, engineers and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and designs

- Monitor project scope, prevent scope creep, and track/follow up on project variations

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets; track and quantify work progress for progress claims and payment

- Develop, track and maintain project schedules using MS Project or similar tools; generate and maintain CPA (Critical Path Analysis) to ensure schedule health

- Employ schedule crashing and project fast-tracking techniques to mitigate delays

- Oversee construction activities onsite, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

- Implement the Project Quality Plan and Safety Management Plan as per site requirements

- Manage resources labor, materials, and equipment — to optimize project efficiency

- Track delivery and monitor shop fabrications and supplier schedules for on-time delivery

- Act as liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all levels





- Address technical and logistical issues arising during construction

- Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, or a related field

- Robust understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials, including plant/equipment erection and thermoplastic piping

- Proven experience as a Construction Project Engineer or in a similar role, with 5 years of on-site experience preferred

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, CPA/scheduling tools)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Willingness to work onsite and in varied conditions, with PPE compliance as required
