Position: Site Engineer – DC Metro Traction

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of overall skilled experience in the relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of specific experience in DC Metro projects, particularly in Traction systems.
- Hands-on experience in site execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of traction-related systems.
- Experience in Metro Rail, Railway, or similar urban rail transportation projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities related to DC Metro Traction systems.
- Ensure execution of traction works in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project teams for smooth execution of site activities.
- Review drawings, technical documents, work procedures, and installation requirements before commencement of site activities.
- Monitor installation of traction equipment, cables, conductors, supports, bonding, earthing, and associated traction system components.
- Ensure proper installation, alignment, routing, fixing, termination, and identification of traction-related equipment and cables.
- Coordinate with Track, Civil, MEP, Signalling, Telecom,



and other disciplines to resolve site interfaces and avoid clashes or delays.
- Monitor material availability and ensure that only approved materials and equipment are used at site.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and approval of completed works.
- Ensure that Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection requests, and quality records are properly implemented and maintained.
- Assist in testing and commissioning activities of DC traction systems and associated equipment.
- Identify site issues, technical deviations, and construction constraints and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor progress of site activities against approved project schedules and report delays or potential risks to the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and project HSE requirements at the work site.
- Maintain daily site records, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.
- Support preparation and verification of as-built drawings and completion documentation.
- Participate in site meetings, inspections, coordination meetings, and technical discussions as required.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹92,000.00 per month
