Job Overview:

- We are looking for an experienced RCC Site Engineer responsible for regular site visits, inspection, supervision, and quality monitoring of RCC structural works.
- The candidate should have good knowledge of structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, shuttering, concreting, and coordination with contractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular site inspections for all RCC structural elements and ensure execution is as per approved structural drawings and speci ications.
- Inspect and monitor footings, pile caps, columns, shear walls, beams, slabs, staircases, retaining walls, lift walls, water tanks, and other RCC elements.
- Check reinforcement size, spacing, number of bars, lap lengths, anchorage, development length, cover, couplers, chairs, and reinforcement detailing before concreting.
- Inspect shuttering/formwork, line, level, dimensions, alignment, verticality, supports, and stability.
- Verify embedded items, sleeves, openings, inserts, and service provisions before concrete placement.
- Monitor concrete pouring, vibration, construction joints, cold joints, curing, and surface inishing.
- Check concrete grade, approved mix design, slump, cube sampling, batching, transportation, and placement procedures.
- Ensure RCC works comply with approved structural drawings, project speci ications, relevant IS codes, and quality requirements.
- Identify site deviations, structural discrepancies,



and execution issues and coordinate with the Structural Consultant, Architect, Contractor, and Project Team for timely resolution.
- Review structural drawings and identify RCC execution constraints, clashes, missing details, and site requirements before commencement of work.
- Maintain site inspection reports, checklists, concrete records, reinforcement inspection records, and quality documentation.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure RCC activities are completed according to the project schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams regarding corrective actions and quality improvements.
- Carry out regular follow-up inspections to ensure that recti ication works are properly completed.
- Prepare and communicate professional site observation reports and structural inspection comments.

Required Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of RCC construction and structural detailing.
2. Having valuable understanding of structural drawings and reinforcement drawings.
3. Practical knowledge of IS 456, IS 13920 and relevant IS codes.
4. Ability to identify structural execution issues at site.
5. Having good understanding of BBS and reinforcement detailing.
6. Knowledge of formwork, reinforcement and concreting practices.
7. Having good communication and coordination skills.
8. Ability to independently handle site inspections and structural quality monitoring.

Required Qualification:

1. Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Willingness to travel to project sites for regular inspections.
3. Having Good communication and coordination skills.
4. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
