Job Overview

- We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Fresher to join our team as a Site Engineer (RCC & PT).
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting in regular site visits and inspections of RCC and Post-Tensioned (PT) structural works under the guidance of senior engineers.
- This role provides an prospect to gain practical exposure to structural construction, site execution, RCC reinforcement, formwork, concreting, PT works, drawing coordination and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Visit project sites regularly for RCC and PT work inspections along with senior engineers.
2. Assist in checking construction activities as per approved structural drawings.
3. Understand and verify column, beam, slab, wall and footing reinforcement at site.
4. Assist in checking reinforcement, cover, shuttering/formwork, dimensions and levels before concreting.
5. Observe and assist in monitoring RCC concreting activities.
6. Assist in checking concrete grade, slump, cube sampling and other basic quality-control requirements.
7. Gain practical knowledge of PT slabs and PT beams, including tendon layout, anchorage locations and stressing arrangements.
8. Assist senior engineers during PT tendon installation, stressing and grouting inspections.
9. Compare actual site execution with approved RCC and PT structural drawings and identify deviations.
10. Record site observations and prepare site inspection reports and checklists.

Take and maintain proper site photographs and inspection records.
12. Coordinate with contractors and supervisors regarding structural observations.
13. Assist in raising and following up on site queries/Request for information (RFIs) with the structural design team.
14. Learn to identify common construction and structural execution issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
15. Attend site meetings and coordinate with the structural, architectural and MEP teams when required.
16. Follow up on recti ication of site observations and report the status to senior engineers.
17. Maintain proper documentation of site visits and inspection activities.

Required Qualification:

1. Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
3. Willingness to travel to project sites for regular inspections.
4. Having Good communication and coordination skills.
5. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
