Job Overview:

- We are looking for a technically competent and detail-oriented Site Engineer (PT) with 2-3 years of experience in structural construction.
- The candidate will be responsible for site inspections and supervision of Post-Tensioning (PT), ensuring that execution is carried out as per approved structural drawings, speci ications, and project quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular site visits and inspections for PT structural works.

Check reinforcement as per approved structural drawings, including:

- Beam and slab reinforcement
- PT slab reinforcement
- Anchorage-zone reinforcement
- Additional / local reinforcement
- Bar diameter, spacing, laps, development length and cover

Verify PT works at various stages, including:

- PT tendon layout and pro iling
- Tendon spacing and level
- Anchorage locations and orientation
- Dead-end and live-end anchorages
- Sheathing/duct condition
- Tendon identi ication and marking
- Anchorage-zone reinforcement

1. Inspect PT works before concreting and ensure all required provisions are completed.
2. Coordinate and monitor PT stressing activities at site.
3. Verify stressing sequence, stressing records and elongation values in coordination with the PT contractor.
4. Check stressing equipment, stressing pressure and relevant site records.
5. Ensure stressing is carried out only after con irming the required concrete strength and necessary approvals.
6. Monitor grouting activities after stressing, wherever applicable, and ensure proper documentation.
7. Carry out inspection of basic RCC works, including shuttering/formwork, reinforcement, embedded items, sleeves, openings and construction joints.
8. Check concrete pouring activities and ensure structural elements are executed as per approved drawings.
9. Identify site deviations,



discrepancies and execution issues and communicate them to the Project Engineer / Structural Consultant.
10. Coordinate with PT contractors, RCC contractors, consultants, architects and project management teams for smooth execution.
11. Review structural drawings and communicate drawing-related requirements to the site execution team.
12. Prepare and maintain site inspection reports, reinforcement checklists, PT stressing records, snag lists and inspection documentation.
13. Monitor recti ication of site observations and ensure closure of pending structural issues.
14. Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, project speci ications, quality requirements and applicable IS codes.
15. Assist in resolving site-related technical issues in coordination with senior engineers and structural consultants.
16. Maintain proper records of site observations, approvals, measurements and structural activities.

Required Skills:

1. Having good knowledge of Post-Tensioned (PT) slab and beam construction.
2. Having positive understanding of RCC reinforcement detailing and site execution.
3. Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, PT layouts, reinforcement drawings, sections and details.
4. Practical knowledge of PT tendon installation, anchorage systems and stressing procedures.
5. Understanding of reinforcement checking, cover, spacing, laps, development length and detailing requirements.
6. Basic understanding of concrete grades, cube testing, construction joints and concreting procedures.
7. Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic MS Of ice is preferred.
8. Having good site coordination and communication skills.
9. Ability to identify discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site execution.

Required Qualification:

1. Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Willingness to travel to project sites for regular inspections.
3. Having Good communication and coordination skills.
4. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
