Role Description The Site Engineer – Fire Fighting Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in India responsible for overseeing the execution of fire protection installations at project locations. This position involves coordinating daily site activities, supervising installation of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, and suppression systems, and ensuring that work complies with safety codes, design specifications, and regulatory standards.

The Site

Engineer will monitor quality control, perform inspections, verify material usage, and collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.



The role includes preparing site reports, documenting progress, supporting testing and commissioning of systems, and ensuring that all civil and structural interfaces are properly managed. The individual is expected to promote a safe working environment and maintain explicit communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong on-site project supervision skills, including experience managing daily installation activities for fire fighting projects.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients, and to prepare clear technical reports and documentation.
- Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to verify workmanship, materials, and compliance with fire safety standards and project specifications.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical engineering knowledge to understand drawings, align fire protection systems.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in fire fighting projects installations is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with national and international fire safety codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, use basic engineering tools, and support testing and commissioning activities.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
