Project Site Civil Engineer - Contract

Location: Near Sojat, Pali, Rajasthan

Contract Duration: 3-4 months

Type: Full-time at Site, Contract / Project Basis

We are setting up an industrial mineral processing plant near Sojat, Rajasthan and are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to supervise and monitor civil construction at site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day civil works including:
- PEB shed foundations and pedestals
- Heavy machinery foundations
- Internal roads, GSB/WMM and site development
- Weighbridge foundation
- Security cabin and other ancillary civil works
- RCC, flooring, drainage and miscellaneous works
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, levels and dimensions.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, cover, embedments, anchor bolts and concrete works before execution.
- Manage basic QA/QC activities, including:
- Concrete slump testing
- Cube sampling and cube test records
- Cement, steel and aggregate test certificates
- Field density / compaction testing for earthwork and road layers
- Checking GSB/WMM layer thickness, levels and compaction
- Monitor concrete pouring, vibration, finishing and curing.
- Coordinate with the soil testing laboratory, structural/architectural consultants,



PEB contractor and other vendors as required.
- Verify site levels, dimensions and setting-out before and during construction.
- Check contractor measurements and quantities and assist in verification of RA bills.
- Maintain daily site records, inspection checklists, test reports and photographic documentation.
- Identify defective work, deviations or quality issues and ensure corrective action.
- Monitor contractor manpower, progress and material availability and report delays or issues to the project management team.

Candidate Requirements:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3-7 years of relevant site experience, preferably in industrial / factory / PEB projects.
- Practical experience in RCC foundations, machinery foundations, earthwork and roads.
- Good understanding of civil QA/QC and construction testing.
- Ability to read civil, structural and PEB drawings.
- Experience in contractor measurement and billing verification preferred.
- Must be willing to work full time at the project site near Sojat, Rajasthan

 Preferred: Experience with industrial projects, PEB foundations, heavy machinery foundations, industrial flooring, GSB/WMM and weighbridge foundations.
