SIL Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a skilled SIL Integration & Validation Engineer with 3 years of experience in SIL Integration and VECU.

- Virtual ECU build and Integration in Software-in-Loop (SiL) environment
- Integration of component vECUs and plant models to form a powertrain/ vehicle SiL
- Perform smoke test on the integrated SiL and maintain the test specification and execution as per customer and compliance requirements
- Interact with multiple user community to identify and provide suitable SiLs
- Analyse the integration issues, report SW defects and perform rootcause analysis
- CI/CD Pipeline automation of vECU build and integration

Responsibilities

- Works as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities
- Applies own judgement to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review
- Troubleshooting issues quickly and supporting the team to identify the root cause
- Tangible contribution to Innovation(Product/Process/Business/Paper/Publication/Patents)
- Bring in ideas for process/efficiency improvements
- Mentoring & Coaching current joiners

Technical Skills

- Experience in a) Validation of automotive electric powertrain functions in SiL b)



Development of test specification, test scripting, test execution, test reporting and defect management c) Functional understanding of automotive systems and technologies d) Automation using python/matlab e) Simulink model understanding and debugging

Knowledge on a) Protocols : CAN/ Ethernet/ LIN/ UDS/Flexray b) Topics : Electric vehicle, electric powertrain, SiL, JENKINS, Energy Management System, Thermal Management System, Traction Management System, Charging Management System, Diagnostic functions, Battery Management System, ESP etc.

c) Automotive components : Transmission, electric Drive System, battery, Inverters, Chargers, HV Components etc.

Nice to Have a) Prior experience in SiL validation of electric powertrain system b) German language skills

- Integration & Testing Tools : Vector CANoe, Silver, Testweaver, ECU-TEST, Provetech
- Configuration Management: Git, SVN
- Defect Management and Documentation: JIRA, Confluence
- Measurement Calibration Diagnostic (MCD) : CANAPE/CANOE/Canalyzer/Candela Studio/INCA/CANOE
