Role Description The Shopify Web Developer and Website Designer will manage and enhance The Vedas’ online store and digital presence in a full-time, on-site role based in Ujjain.

Responsibilities include designing and developing Shopify themes, customizing templates, and optimizing site layout, navigation, and user experience to reflect the brand’s focus on purity and wellness. The role involves building product pages, integrating apps and plugins, managing collections, and ensuring mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. The developer will collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement promotional campaigns, improve conversion rates, and maintain consistent branding.





Day-to-day tasks also include troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring site performance, implementing SEO best practices, and ensuring secure and smooth checkout processes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including theme customization, Liquid templates, and app integration.
- Experience in website design and UI/UX principles, with skills in layout design, responsive design, and visual branding.
- Front-end development skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks or libraries.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including product page optimization, cart and checkout flows, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, analytics tools, and basic digital marketing concepts relevant to online retail.
