We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper / Cashier to join our general store. The ideal candidate should be friendly, responsible, and able to assist customers while handling daily store operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a polite and skilled manner
- Handle billing and cash transactions accurately using the cash register/POS system
- Pack customer purchases and maintain cleanliness of the store
- Restock shelves and arrange products neatly
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management about low stock
- Assist in loading/unloading goods when required
- Ensure products are properly displayed and labeled
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the store
Requirements
- Basic communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and perform simple calculations
- Honest, punctual, and responsible attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of English/Hindi is an advantage
Working Hours
- Job timings: 8am to 8pm
- Full-time, Part-time shifts available
- One day off per week, 26th January and 2nd October off
