We are looking for an experienced Shipping & Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end shipping and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of import/export processes, documentation, customs regulations, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end shipping and logistics operations and ensure smooth movement of shipments.
- Handle and verify import and export documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, customs agents, and other external partners.
- Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and logistics costs.
- Resolve shipment-related issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers, and other service providers.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.
- Prepare regular management reports on logistics performance, costs, and budgets.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and optimize costs.
- Lead and coordinate the logistics team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in shipping and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.
- Good understanding of international trade regulations and customs laws.
- Proven experience in logistics process improvement and cost optimization.
- Robust communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities effectively.
