- Shift Management: Supervise and coordinate production activities during assigned shifts to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure efficient use of resources, materials, and manpower.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Problem Solving: Identify production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a protected working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, shift summaries, and quality control documentation.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
(Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and production scheduling.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
- Drawing Reading and AutoCad
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with SAP PP systems
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Lean Manufacturing and TQM principles.
Preferred candidate profile Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
