Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sewing Machine Operator Trainee role based in Dhar. The trainee will learn to operate different types of industrial sewing machines under supervision, including threading, setting stitch parameters, and basic machine maintenance. Day-to-day tasks include handling fabrics and materials, following production instructions, maintaining consistent stitching quality, and meeting output targets while minimizing errors and wastage.

The role involves working closely with supervisors and team members, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards on the production floor,



and documenting any machine issues for timely resolution. Over time, the trainee will be expected to develop proficiency in multiple operations and support continuous improvement in production processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in machine operation and basic understanding of industrial sewing machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control to inspect seams, finishes, and overall garment or product quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in using hand tools related to sewing and machine maintenance, such as scissors, cutters, and minor adjustment tools.
- Candidates should possess robust communication skills to follow instructions, report issues, and collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage repetitive tasks, and follow safety and hygiene protocols in a factory environment.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven production setting.
- Prior exposure to stitching, tailoring, or garment manufacturing is an advantage but not mandatory for motivated learners.
- Minimum educational qualification of secondary school level or equivalent; vocational training in textiles or apparel is a plus.
