Core Responsibilities

1. Development & Configuration: Design and deploy ServiceNow SAM and HAM (Hardware Asset Management) modules based on business needs.
2. Integration: Build and maintain API integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub) between ServiceNow and external platforms, including CMDB and IT Service Management (ITSM) systems.
3. Compliance & Normalization: Configure license metrics, entitlements, and reconciliation rules to calculate Effective License Positions (ELPs) for software publishers.
4. Automation: Automate software deployment, harvesting, and reclamation processes to eliminate unused licenses and reduce overhead costs.
5. Reporting: Develop custom scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes), reports,



and dashboards to monitor software assets and process metrics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Technical Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and scripting using JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of ServiceNow ITAM architecture, Discovery, CMDB, and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) alignment.
- Business Communication: Valuable communication/presentation skills and customer front ending experience
- Certifications:
- CSA, CAD (required)
