ServiceNow Junior Developer – ITSM & ITOM Location:

Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time (Work from Office), Note: Additional working days include 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays Experience

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior ServiceNow Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform, focusing primarily on IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules. The ideal candidate will have foundational ServiceNow knowledge, with a willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior developers and architects.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow applications, especially ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) and ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management). Participate in the development of business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and workflows. Support ServiceNow administration tasks such as user management, access control, and data imports. Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. Participate in unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Help maintain and improve CMDB health and Discovery jobs. Document development activities, configurations, and customizations. Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues under supervision.

Required Skills &

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 1 – 3 years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform. Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request). Basic understanding or hands-on experience with ITOM functionalities like Discovery, CMDB, and Event Management is a plus. Familiarity with JavaScript, REST APIs, and web technologies (HTML, CSS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Positive communication and collaboration abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Preferred ITSM Fundamentals or ITOM Visibility training (desirable) ITIL v4 Foundation Certification (plus point) Growth Opportunities: Opportunity to advance to ServiceNow Developer / Senior Developer roles. Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
