About The Job:

- We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer & Architect to design, build, and enhance solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on App Engine, custom applications, API integrations, and enterprise-grade module development.
- This role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable implementations.

Essential Job Functions:

Architecture & Solution Design

- Lead end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow App Engine applications, including data models, workflows, integrations, and user experience design.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for custom application development.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
- Review and optimize existing ServiceNow implementations for performance, maintainability, scalability, and compliance.

Development & Configuration
- Develop custom applications using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and custom Data Models.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations, including authentication, payload mapping, error handling, and monitoring.
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow modules including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- CMDB
- Service Catalog & Request Management
- Knowledge Management
- Custom Scoped Applications

- Create reusable utilities, components, and frameworks to accelerate development and promote standardization.
- Develop analytics solutions, reports, dashboards,



and Performance Analytics capabilities within ServiceNow.

Integration & Automation
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs.
- Implement integrations using MID Server.
- Leverage IntegrationHub spokes for third-party integrations.
- Develop webhook-based and event-driven integration patterns.
- Automate workflows using Flow Designer, Scripted Flows, Scheduled Jobs, and business process automation techniques.

Platform Governance & Support
- Provide Level 3 support for ServiceNow applications, custom modules, and integrations.
- Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, tuning exercises, and platform health checks.
- Maintain architecture documentation, design documents, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, governance standards, and data protection guidelines.
- Support platform upgrades, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and architecture.
- Strong expertise in App Engine, Scoped Applications, and custom module development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST and SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data structures, ACLs, security models, and platform architecture.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience building ServiceNow Reports, Dashboards, and Performance Analytics visualizations.




- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Mobile App development using Mobile Studio, including mobile cards, layouts, and offline capabilities.
- Experience designing and configuring ServiceNow Virtual Agent chatbots, NLU models, conversational topics, and workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow using Git, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or related ServiceNow product suites.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and API gateways.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership..
