About the role

We are hiring, on behalf of a leading global enterprise building out its Hyderabad capability center, a ServiceNow Architect whose core strength is Procurement Operations Management (POM) and procurement domain expertise. This is a procurement-first architecture role: you will own the design of procurement and source-to-pay solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with ITSM serving only as the underlying platform foundation. We are looking for depth of real-world procurement experience and strong ServiceNow CIS credentials over breadth across unrelated modules.

Key responsibilities

- Architect POM solutions — own end-to-end solution architecture for ServiceNow Procurement Operations Management: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, procurement case management, catalogs and approvals.
- Design source-to-pay / procure-to-pay flows that digitize the full procurement lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through requisition, PO, receiving and invoice reconciliation.
- Lead procurement integrations between ServiceNow and ERP / procurement suites (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Workday) via IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP and MID Server.
- Model supplier and vendor management processes — onboarding, catalogs, entitlements and supplier collaboration on the platform.




- Set procurement best practices and governance — data models, approval hierarchies, delegation of authority, and CSDM-aligned foundations.
- Use ITSM as the platform base — reuse the underlying ITSM/service-management foundation (catalog, workflow, CMDB, notifications) to support procurement operations, without ITSM being the focus of the role.
- Guide and review the delivery team, produce architecture artifacts and HLDs, and translate procurement business requirements into scalable, governed ServiceNow designs.

Experience & skills — must-have

- 10+ years overall IT / enterprise application experience, with a clear, demonstrable track record delivering procurement or source-to-pay solutions.
- 4+ years hands-on with ServiceNow Procurement Operations Management (POM) or ServiceNow procurement / sourcing workflows — configured and delivered in production, not just theoretical exposure.
- Deep procurement domain knowledge: procure-to-pay (P2P) and source-to-pay (S2P) processes, purchasing, requisitions, POs, goods receipt, supplier/vendor management, catalogs, and procurement approvals.
- Proven integration experience connecting ServiceNow to ERP / procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Workday or similar).
- Solution-architecture capability: requirement analysis, HLD/LLD, data modelling, and platform governance / best practices.
- ServiceNow ITSM as a base platform skill — solid working understanding of the ITSM foundation (service catalog, workflow/Flow Designer, CMDB, notifications) sufficient to build procurement solutions on top of it.
- Based in Hyderabad, or willing to relocate, and available to join as a full-time employee.





Certifications — mandatory ServiceNow certification is a hard requirement for this role. Candidates without a valid ServiceNow CIS certification will not be shortlisted.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — mandatory. A current CIS certification is required; CIS-ITSM is accepted as the platform-base credential.
- Procurement / sourcing-relevant ServiceNow certification or micro-certification — strongly preferred (e.g. Sourcing & Procurement Operations / Procurement, or an adjacent CIS such as CIS-SAM, CIS-PPM or CIS-SPM).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — required as the platform baseline.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and ServiceNow Certified Technical / Master Architect (CTA / CMA) — advantageous for the architect level.

Positive to have

- ITIL v4 Foundation and awareness of procurement / finance controls and compliance.
- Exposure to contract lifecycle management, spend analytics or category management.
- Experience working with a global capability center (GCC) or enterprise shared-services procurement function.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CSDM, IntegrationHub spokes and Now Assist / GenAI in a procurement context.

Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain / Procurement, or a related field. Relevant procurement or ServiceNow experience and certifications may outweigh formal education.
