Job Summary

Hari Chand Anand & Co. is looking for an experienced Service Manager – Industrial Sewing Machines to manage our team of Service Engineers and Sewing Machine Technicians.

The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of industrial sewing machines used in garment factories and should be capable of handling service engineers, customer complaints, machine breakdowns, installations, preventive maintenance and technical troubleshooting.

Candidates with experience in Garment Machinery, Industrial Sewing Machines, Apparel Manufacturing Equipment or Sewing Machine Service will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise a team of Industrial Sewing Machine Service Engineers / Technicians.
- Assign daily service calls and customer complaints to engineers.
- Monitor pending service complaints and ensure timely closure.
- Provide technical support to engineers for difficult machine problems.
- Handle customer escalations related to machine breakdowns and service issues.
- Manage installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance of sewing machines.
- Review daily service reports and engineer performance.
- Coordinate with customers regarding breakdowns, maintenance and technical support.
- Coordinate with Sales and Spare Parts teams for machine parts and technical requirements.
- Train and guide junior Service Engineers.
- Improve service response time and customer satisfaction.
- Support Pan India service operations when required.

Industrial Sewing Machine Technical Knowledge Required Candidate should have practical technical knowledge of machines such as:

The candidate should be able to diagnose and guide engineers on issues related to: Machine Timing | Stitch Quality | Thread Breakage | Feeding Problems | Needle Problems | Mechanical Settings | Electronic Faults | Motor Issues | Machine Performance | Preventive Maintenance

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Industrial Sewing Machine Service / Garment Machinery Service preferred.
- Previous experience in team handling or Service Engineer management.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting knowledge of garment sewing machines.
- Experience working with an Industrial Sewing Machine Company, Garment Factory, Apparel Manufacturing Company or Garment Machinery Distributor preferred.
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple service complaints and engineers.
- Basic knowledge of computer/mobile-based service reporting.
- Willing to travel for customer visits and technical issues when required.

Preferred Background Candidates currently or previously working as:
