Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with solid knowledge of HT/LT/MV/LV switchgear, electrical control panels, protection systems, and industrial electrical installations. The candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, test, and commission HT/LT/MV/LV switchboards, PCC/MCC, APFC and synchronization panels.
- Conduct primary and secondary injection testing of protection relays.
- Test and troubleshoot CT/PT circuits, trip coils, interlocks, control wiring, and protection systems.
- Troubleshoot ACB, MCCB, VCB, SF6 breakers, contactors, relays, meters, and motor starters.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial switchgear and electrical panels.
- Carry out circuit breaker servicing, mechanical inspection, contact resistance testing, and relay setting verification.
- Troubleshoot PLC/relay-based control logic, I/O signals, interlocks, and permissive circuits.
- Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings, and wiring schematics.




- Use testing equipment such as Megger, Multimeter, and Relay Test Kits.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spares, AMC services, design corrections, and customer requirements.
- Follow LOTO, PPE, electrical safety, and arc-flash safety procedures at customer sites.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT/MV/LV Switchgear.
- Good understanding of electrical protection systems and relay settings.
- Hands-on experience with ACB, MCCB, VCB, SF6 breakers, CT/PT, relays, contactors, and meters.
- Knowledge of PLC/control logic and industrial communication such as Modbus/Ethernet.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
- Willingness to travel to customer/industrial sites.

Preferred Profile
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in switchgear, electrical panels, commissioning, maintenance, or field service.
- Experience in industrial electrical installations and customer-site service will be preferred.
- Certifications in switchgear, protection systems, or electrical safety will be an added advantage
