Role & responsibilities

Role Summary The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of power electronics equipment and industrial battery systems at customer sites.

This role involves extensive fieldwork and direct customer interaction to ensure reliable operation of critical power systems and high service quality standards.

The position demands solid technical knowledge in UPS systems, voltage regulation equipment, battery technologies, and power conditioning solutions, with adherence to safety and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

- Install, commission, and test:
- Online UPS & Home UPS systems
- Battery chargers & SMPS chargers
- Servo Voltage Stabilizers & Static Voltage Regulators (SVR)

- Frequency Converters

- Active Harmonic Filters

- RTPFC Panels
- Industrial battery banks (Lead Acid, SMF, Tubular, VRLA, Lithium where applicable)
- Perform site readiness checks, load assessment, and equipment capacity verification
- Ensure proper wiring, earthing, polarity checks, and safety compliance during installation

Service & Maintenance

- Carry out routine, breakdown, and preventive maintenance of installed systems
- Diagnose electrical, electronic, and battery-related faults at module and component level
- Replace faulty PCBs, power modules, fuses, relays, connectors, fans, and battery cells
- Perform battery testing including voltage, impedance, and discharge checks
- Ensure system calibration and performance as per OEM standards

Troubleshooting & Support

- Analyze alarms, error codes, and system logs for UPS and power equipments
- Rectify issues related to charging circuits, inverter sections, control boards, and power stages
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for advanced troubleshooting and spares support




- Provide on-site technical guidance to customers on system operation and best practices

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain service reports, installation checklists, and maintenance logs
- Record customer feedback, fault history, and corrective actions taken
- Update job status and service records as per company procedures

Safety & Compliance

- Follow electrical safety standards, PPE usage, and site safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations during field operations

Technical Skills & Knowledge

- Strong understanding of:

- Power electronics fundamentals
- UPS architecture (rectifier, inverter, charger, bypass)
- Voltage regulation and power conditioning systems

- Knowledge of batteries
- Lead Acid, Tubular, SMF, VRLA, Industrial Battery Banks
- Battery charging methods, sizing, and maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Hands-on experience with tools:
- Multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, basic hand tools
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, earthing systems, and load calculations

Preferred candidate profile Qualification : ITI Electronics /BSC/MSC/DIPOMA/Degree in Electrical and Electronics

FIELD ENGINEER FOR SERVICES

- Basic Knowledge of Electrical and Electronics
- UPS/Stabilizer/Battery Installation work
- UPS/Stabilizer/Battery Preventive Maintenance work
- UPS/Stabilizer/Battery fault finding on site at card level
- Ready to go outside Nashik anywhere for perform above works.

Qualification: ITI Electronics/BSC/MSC Electronics/Diploma Electronics & Electricals Job Type: Full-time

Job Time : 9:30AM to 6:00PM
