Job Summary

Nataraj Mobiles Pvt. Ltd. – JCB is looking for an experienced Service Engineer – Excavator to handle servicing, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and technical support of JCB Excavators and other construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of JCB Excavators and construction equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, engine, and transmission-related problems.
- Carry out machine inspection, servicing, repair, and maintenance.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely field service support.
- Conduct machine health checks and identify potential failures.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and related components.
- Diagnose engine, cooling system, and electrical system issues.
- Prepare service reports, job cards, inspection reports, and machine history.
- Coordinate with customers, technicians, workshop, and spare parts teams.
- Minimize machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and timely repairs.




- Guide technicians and junior service staff when required.
- Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines.
- Visit customer sites for breakdown and service support.

Required Qualification

- ITI – Diesel / Mechanical / Automobile Trade, OR
- Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

Experience & Skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing and maintenance of excavators or heavy construction equipment.
- Hands-on experience in hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems.
- Experience in field service and customer handling.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in JCB Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Earthmoving Equipment, or other Construction Equipment will be preferred.
