Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Server Administrator role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

The Server

Administrator will manage and maintain server and system infrastructure supporting Gozo’s travel technology platform, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization. Daily responsibilities include handling system updates and patches, ensuring data security and backups, monitoring system health, and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. The role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to support deployments, troubleshoot production incidents,



and improve reliability and scalability.

The Server

Administrator will also document procedures, implement best practices, and provide technical support to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong Server Administration skills, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization of server environments.
- Solid System Administration experience managing user accounts, permissions, backups, and system security across multiple environments.
- Proficient in Troubleshooting and Technical Support, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Hands-on experience with Operating Systems (such as Linux/Unix and Windows Server) and familiarity with scripting or automation tools.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs) and basic database administration concepts.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux, Windows Server, or cloud platforms) and experience in high-availability or cloud-based environments are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
