About The Role

We are seeking a dependable and technically capable individual to join our team as a Website & SEO Technical Assistant. This is an entry-level, full-time position designed for candidates eager to develop practical skills in website management, SEO monitoring, content updates, and plugin testing. The role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with foundational computer training to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic digital environment.

The ideal candidate will have a robust interest in website operations and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques. While prior experience in SEO or web development is not mandatory, familiarity with WordPress, basic HTML/CSS, or digital content management will be advantageous. Training will be provided to the selected candidate, making this role suitable for those looking to build a long-term career in website operations and digital technology.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of computer applications and a keen interest in website management. Educational backgrounds such as COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), BCA, B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology, diploma in IT or computer science, MCA, or similar recognized certifications are highly encouraged.



Candidates with a demonstrated curiosity for technology, such as building or maintaining websites, troubleshooting technical issues, or learning HTML/CSS independently, will be highly valued.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential. The candidate must have reliable internet access and a suitable computer capable of handling daily tasks. No extensive professional experience is required; enthusiasm, problem-solving ability, and a proactive attitude are more important than years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of website operations, technical testing, and reporting activities, including but not limited to:

- Monitoring website keyword rankings and search visibility to assess SEO performance.
- Tracking changes in Google search rankings and reviewing data from Google Search Console.
- Monitoring website indexing, impressions, clicks, and overall performance metrics.
- Identifying significant fluctuations in rankings and assisting in resolving related issues.
- Preparing detailed SEO performance reports and maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
- Assisting in basic keyword and competitor research to support SEO strategies.
- Adding, updating, and formatting website content within WordPress, including articles, pages, images, and links.
- Organizing content publishing schedules and ensuring proper display of pages post-publication.
- Optimizing images and making basic updates to titles, descriptions, and content.
- Creating and configuring WordPress websites using themes and existing systems.
- Managing website settings, menus, widgets, and plugin configurations,



including updates and troubleshooting.
- Performing routine website maintenance and resolving common WordPress issues.
- Testing new WordPress plugins and website functionalities, documenting bugs, and reporting technical problems to the development team.
- Participating in plugin testing processes, including installation, configuration, and feature validation.

Most tasks involve following established procedures, and extensive web development or programming skills are not required. The focus is on learning, problem-solving, and supporting website operations effectively.
