We are looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor who understands that great editing is not just about cuts and transitions. It is about storytelling, audience retention, pacing, and creating content people actually want to watch.

The candidate should be equally comfortable editing long-form YouTube videos, personal branding content, podcasts, short-form reels, and social media videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing and audience retention.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form content.
- Edit personal branding videos for founders, entrepreneurs, professionals and creators.
- Convert raw footage into polished, engaging and platform-ready content.
- Understand where to use cuts, B-roll, text, captions, graphics, sound effects, music, zooms and transitions without over-editing.
- Repurpose long-form videos and podcasts into multiple short-form content pieces.
- Understand hooks and create strong opening sequences for reels and YouTube videos.
- Work closely with the content and social media teams to understand the objective behind each video.
- Suggest creative editing approaches instead of simply following instructions.
- Maintain consistency in editing style according to each brand's identity.
- Handle multiple video projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Understand different formats and aspect ratios for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.





Technical Skills Required The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Knowledge of After Effects / Motion graphics will be an advantage.

The candidate should also be comfortable with mobile editing tools such as CapCut or similar professional mobile editing applications. We want someone who can create quality content quickly when mobile-first editing is required.

What We Are Looking For

- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- A strong portfolio of Reels + YouTube long-form videos is mandatory.
- Valuable understanding of personal branding content and current social media editing styles.
- Strong sense of storytelling, music selection, timing and visual presentation.
- Ability to understand content and improve it through editing rather than simply assembling clips.
- Awareness of current Reels, Shorts and YouTube content trends.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving creative environment and handling revisions professionally.

Candidates must share their portfolio along with:
- Best 3–5 Reels / Shorts edited
- At least 2 long-form YouTube videos
- Personal branding content, if available
- Details of the editing software they are comfortable using
