The role establishes a scalable delivery & implementation framework; drives revenue, margin, quality, schedule, and CSAT/NPS; orchestrates multi-vendor / systems-integrator programs; co-owns upsell/cross-sell with Sales/Customer Success; governs Production Support at a policy level; and supports RFPs/POCs to ensure deliverability and accurate effort/costing.
Deep Lending Systems expertise across the full lifecycle is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Strategy & Leadership (End-to-End)
- Set the implementation operating model (phases, stage gates, roles, forums, cadence) and rollout strategy (pilot, phased, geo/LOB; cutover).
- Close SOWs/contracts (co-own): scope, deliverables, acceptance, commercials, milestones, service levels, change control; maintain Assumptions & Exclusions.
- Build the Integrated Implementation Plan (WBS, critical path, capacity/skills, partner plan, budget/EAC, revenue milestones).
- Run Business Process Mapping (fitment vs. gaps) to map customer lending processes to the product; produce a fitment matrix (configure/extend/customize), estimates, risks, regulatory evidence, and sign-offs; feed SOW scope, CRs, config, and requirements.
- Ensure environment & data readiness (access, migrations, rehearsals, reconciliations, cutover runbook, rollback).
- Govern testing & NFRs (system/integration/E2E/UAT; performance, security, resilience) and regulatory sign-offs.
- Execute cutover & Hypercare with clear SLAs and stabilization KPIs; hand off cleanly to steady-state support.
Lead customer governance (kick-off, design reviews, CABs, go/no-go) and decision-oriented executive communications. Delivery Strategy, Operations & Controls
- Run a Delivery & Implementation Playbook (templates, RACI, entry/exit criteria); operate a Control Tower (live RAG, risks, forecast/EAC, schedule/cost variance, quality).
- Drive operational excellence: weekly operating rhythm, WIP limits, throughput & predictability (lead/cycle time, velocity, estimate variance, rework%).
- Standardize QA, release/environments, data migration, UAT, cutover; enforce DR/BCP and change/release governance.
- Embed Regulatory checkpoints, privacy controls, and automated audit evidence in stage gates.
- Optimize commercial constructs (fixed price, T&M;, managed capacity) and invoice accuracy.
Revenue, Accounts & Partners
- Own delivery-linked revenue (milestone invoicing, revenue recognition hygiene); drive CR/feature-build pipeline & conversion; weekly forecast/risk cadence with Finance (DSO/WIP watch).
- Account expansion with Upsell/Cross-sell: success plans, adoption playbooks, value narratives, reference ability; maintain sponsor maps and QBR/SCM rhythm.
- Orchestrate vendors/SIs: onboarding & certification, acceptance criteria, rate cards and guardrails; run Partner scorecards (on-time, first-pass acceptance, leakage/rework, estimate variance); lead integrated planning/testing/cutover; ensure security & regulatory compliance.
People Leadership & Capacity
- Build and scale teams (Programs/Portfolio, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance,
Release & Environments, Data Migration, Professional Services).
- Run capacity & skills planning, utilization/billability, bench, location mix, and succession for critical roles.
- Drive performance management (goals/scorecards), coaching and recognition; strengthen L&D;/certifications; reduce time-to-productivity and regretted attrition.
Production Support Governance
- Set policy/SLOs, change/release risk gates, DR/BCP and escalation frameworks; review post-incident reports and reliability trends.
- Day-to-day L2/L3 remains with Head of Support/Site Reliability Engineering; CDO engages on major incidents/chronic problems and delivery-impacting risks.
Pre-Sales Support (RFPs/POCs) Shape RFP proposals and POCs: approach, estimates, assumptions, risks, environment/data/integration needs; present delivery plans and risk positions; ensure zero rework from award to mobilization.
Role Outcome:
Implementation
SOW estimate variance; SOW/contract cycle time; BPM sign-off on time; Requirements/UAT first pass; cutover success (no rollback); Hypercare P1/P2 incident rate; data-reconciliation accuracy.
Revenue & Margin
Revenue plan attainment; portfolio gross margin; CR conversion; forecast/EAC accuracy; invoice accuracy; DSO/WIP aging; (where applicable) NRR/GRR.
Schedule & Cost
On-time delivery; schedule variance; effort/estimate variance
Quality & Reliability
UAT pass rate; defect density/leakage; escaped defects/release; change failure rate; SLO attainment; major-incident trend; PIR action closure.
Customer
CSAT/NPS; executive escalations; reference ability; renewals/expansions.
Vendor/SI
On-time; first-pass acceptance; partner leakage & rework; estimate variance; compliance/audit pass.
People
Utilization/billability; bench%; time-to-fill; time-to-productivity; regretted attrition; engagement; L&D; hours/FTE; certification completion; healthy span of control.
Pre-Sales
Work closely with the Pre-Sales teams towards closing RFPs and aligning effective implementation strategies.
